Let’s start with the good news first, namely the 2023 roadmap of The Callisto Protocol. On the stock market side, the release of the game does not seem to satisfy everyone. With -8.41%, the shares of the Krafton group take the full brunt of the fact that the first opinions on the game are not so rave reviews than investors expected. According to the analysis Serkan Totothey thought that The Callisto Protocol could become a new pillar for the company, but the game’s Metacritic score (which runs between 75-76%) wouldn’t be high enough for that.
The decrease is not really spectacularsince it comes after a regular increase of three weeks, but it shows the reluctance of some investors and the importance that Metacritic can have on the economy of a studio or a publisher.
