The Callisto Protocol: the new horror game from the creator of Dead Space on the cover of Game Informer, with a first screenshot

Known for his role as executive producer on dead space and the co-creation of Sledgehammer GamesGlen Schofield recently bounced back to lead a new team, Striking Distance Studioswho belongs to PUBG Corporation. He is currently developing an intriguing horror game in the shared universe of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (available from €9.89 on Amazon.co.uk), set in 2320.

The first trailer of The Callisto Protocol informed us that we would visit the maximum security unit Black Iron, on Jupiter’s dead moon Callisto, and encounter fearsome creatures who want us dead. The project revealed to Game Awards 2020 had been announced for 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, but faced with the lack of information since then, there was reason to doubt this calendar.

Striking Distance did not reconfirm the release period, but just came from talk about her baby again in the number #346 of Game Informer, which he covers. Glen Schofield was able to discuss the origins, development and gameplay of The Callisto Protocol.
