Announced in December 2020, The Callisto Protocol has hardly shown itself since, although it is normally still scheduled for this year 2022. However, if we believe the words of the person at the head of the project, Glen Schofield, we should know a little more soon enough.
He actually published a tweet, in which he explains that the motion capture session had started, which is his favorite moment in the creation of a game, since all the work is starting to take place. He concludes his message by thanking those waiting for the game, but also by saying that ” soon we will have more to share “.

It remains to be seen what this “soon” means, but given the progress of the project, we could very well have a new trailer with some information by this summer. A more precise release date could also be shared, if development goes well. Knowing that several major events will take place from June, including the Summer Game Fest, presented by Geoff Keighley, it is entirely possible that The Callisto Protocol will show up at that time.
In the meantime, we recall that The Callisto Protocol is a narrative horror game, developed by the creators of the Dead Space license. The story will take place in the universe of PUBG, about 300 years after those of the battle royale. The links will not be very deep between the two productions, but some references will be found there. At the time, the title was planned for 2020, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
