After a few months of waiting, The Callisto Protocol is finally available. Dead Space’s spiritual successor can finally be played on PC and consoles, although the optimization isn’t perfect yet. But Striking Distance Studios has already unveiled a small roadmap, showing that a free update will be offered to players at the start of the year.
Hardcore Mode and New Game+
Thereby, from February 7, players will have the opportunity to discover the Hardcore mode, which will drastically increase the difficulty, if you need it. The interface, already very sober, could be completely reduced, while the health of enemies will normally be increased, and yours reduced. More information about this mode will be coming soon, according to Striking Distance Studios.
Another mode popular with players will be implemented at the same time, the New Game+, a feature that allows you to rediscover the game, while maintaining your progress. Another way to discover the secrets implemented by the developers, while already ready to face the enemies. All this will therefore be available for free from February 7, 2023.
Note that on the same date, the first elements of the Season Pass will be deployed, with a collection of skins. Two more bundles will be available in March and throughout the spring, while story-driven DLC will be released to the community in the summer.
