The “Camping Paradis” series celebrates its 100th episode on TF1 this Monday evening

The success continues to be there for the series Camping Paradise. After 16 years of existence, it celebrates its 100th episode on TF1 this Monday evening. With each broadcast, nearly five million viewers follow the adventures of Tom Delormes, played by Laurent Ournac, and his team.

A TV landmark

“It’s flattering to see that the public is still loyal because it shows that we have succeeded in renewing ourselves and in developing the series, the characters and the stories, with the times. It is a series that is perhaps also a benchmark in the PAF, which offers a lot of new features but it’s interesting to have programs that have been around for a long time”, explained Mathieu Delarive, actor but also screenwriter of a few episodes and artistic producer on the series, at the microphone of Europe 1.

Camping Paradis is therefore a television landmark but one that continues to evolve. In particular the character of Laurent Ournac who, for a few episodes, has a real sentimental story, serialized in the series. Camping Paradise also offered episodes outside the walls, in Corsica and on skis. The filming of a new episode is planned in an exotic destination.

A series that “raises questions of society”

Invited for the time of an episode, the “guests” also make it possible to bring a little novelty. Carole Richert will be present in this Monday evening’s episode, and next week it will be Corinne Touzet’s turn.

Many actors “take part in the series because the themes we cover are quite deep and raise real social questions. Under the guise of family comedy, we always address subjects that are rooted in reality and which lead to reflection. This series evolves with society and over time,” added Mathieu Delarive.

The next episode, on the theme of Bollywood, will be broadcast this Monday evening at 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
