If Sony Music France thought to please the fans of Star Academy by releasing a special Christmas album, it’s missed… Barely released, it has already received many criticisms, and these are not the reasons that are missing.
It has been several weeks now since the students of the twelfth promotion of Star Academy said their farewells to the castle. Since then, viewers have been following them tirelessly on their social networks to find out everything about their reunion, their daily life and their project. Among the students, Enola and Louis were reunited around lunch, Tiana signed her first contract and saw Léa, her big sister in the adventure, Julien made things clear about his relationship with Anisha, and the latter reassured her fans by declaring to stay in France following the rumors of expulsion.
Since the end of the program, some candidates have thus entrusted themselves, like Louis, and moreover, the record company of the Star Academy Sony Music France is on all fronts in order to produce a maximum of content for fans. He also tries not to let the phenomenon run out of steam after the magnitude it has taken for whole weeks. The record company had already released a ‘best of’ Star Academy album featuring the Class of 2022 Anthem and some of the best vocal performances of the season.

Star Academy and Christmas is a flop
This December 7, Sony Music had teased the arrival of a project around Christmas, which was released this Friday, December 9. This is an album of five songs related to the end of year celebrations, interpreted by some of the academicians. But unfortunately for the record company and the singers, this EP was a real flop, for different reasons: the autotune far too present on the pieces, the lack of songs but also and above all the absence of leading academicians on the album.
