After 4 months of competitionit is finally time to know the name of the future French champion of Tekken 7. In addition to this honorary title, 5000 € are in play, as well as a year of Bandai-Namco gamesbut above all, a guaranteed place for the European Tekken Cup for the two finalists. The European Tekken Cup is the last step to qualify for the Tekken World Tour World Finalsin which the best players on the planet will compete.
the Tekken France Championship began in July, with the GenCup Parisand its last stop was the MixUp. The participants in the various tournaments have all collected a certain number of points (depending on the event and the number of players registered), and the eight best will decide on Saturday for the title of champion of France.
All the info about the stream and the tournament
All the matches of this top 8 will be broadcast on the MGG Twitch channel. They will be moderated by RZA (presenter) Scel and Naudno (commentators), while Fauster will be on hand to introduce you to the players during various interviews. The Tekken France Championship finals will start at 8 p.m.and should end around 11 p.m. (probably it overflows a little if the matches are tight). The legs will be played in three winning rounds. The first player to win two innings (FT2/BO3) qualifies for the next phase, except during finals where participants will have to win three innings (FT3/BO5). As in all good fighting game tournaments, a loser bracket is planned.

Even if he is not the player with the most points, Super AKouma is the undisputed favorite of the tournament. Not content with dominating France, he is also the most consistent European on the international scene. After a top 6 at EVO this year, he wants to establish his hegemony over the French community. The task will not be easy, however, because he is undoubtedly the one whose game has been studied the most by his opponents, who have the advantage of knowing him very well.
Gunni is also one of the veterans of the scene. After a drop in motivation during the pandemic, he has returned to great form this year and is an opponent not to be underestimated. He is a player who has never died, and we have lost count of the number of comebacks he has made with his Jack.

Kalak is perhaps the most “cursed” player in the tournament. He is a formidable opponent, who has already made very good performances on the European scene. Unfortunately for him, he often tends to finish at the foot of the podium (top 4 at MixUp 2022, Top 4 at Tekken Online Challenge West Europe Finals 2021). This tournament is the opportunity to break this vicious circle, and there is no doubt that he will do everything to show his progress.

Despite finishing sixth, Banbino is a bit of a poison fruit in the tournament tree. Training partner and rival of Super AKouma, he is a player who moves little in tournaments. known for being able to play almost the entire cast of the game at a high level, he validated his qualification for the finals despite the fact that he ultimately participated in few qualifying rounds. All the participants know it, they can lose against him, if he is having a good day. Fortunately for them, his lack of competition habit can sometimes cause him to succumb to stress, but he will clearly have to be kept an eye on him, because seeing him in the final would not really be an upset.
In one of his tweets, the player called himself a Top 8 clown. Yet Elix is a player who is more and more talked about, and whose results are constantly improving. It is true that it is difficult to imagine him winning the championship, but not that much in the end. A victory on his part would be unexpected but not surprising, and given that he will be able to play with a free mind, it is not impossible that he will be the good surprise of the tournament, especially since in the end the gap between him and some FR top players is not that big.

During the finals of the previous Tekken France Tour, he was the highest ranked Frenchman (the tournament was open to players of other nationalities).
