The changes of 12.16 before the arrival of the Unknown Realms


An important update is coming soon to Teamfight Tactics with the arrival of the Unknown Realms on 12.17. In order to prepare for this, Riot Games has planned a lighter patch with 12.16 mainly allowing to preserve the balance of the game and the diversity of the compositions. As for the previous patch, 12.15, the objective is to be able to vary the compositions on the game as much as possible. all the changes of this patch 12.16 below.

Ezreal isn’t very effective as an item carrier or as a carry of your reroll comps. With these adjustments, we’re allowing him to cast his skill more frequently and use items like Guinsoo’s Raging Blade and Statikk’s Dagger more effectively.

Our 8 Range Dragons are far too strong and can be found in all dominant strategies. As we planned to reduce their cost and nerf them in Unknown Realms, we’ll be applying some of these nerfs now. We hope that the compositions without Dragon will find their place in the game before the arrival of Unknown Realms.

At this point, I feel like even Rakan doesn’t talk as much about Xayah as I do. The buff given to Xayah in the previous patch made her almost viable as a carry, but she has more difficulty at 1-star than other carries that can stabilize early-game comps.

OPTIMIZATIONS

Axiomatic Arc should be more interesting than Blue Battery when it comes to boosting manavore carries, but its two tiers are currently too ineffective due to the difficulty of using this optimization. When choosing this optimization, consider going for carries such as Aurelion Sol, Ao Shin, or Zoe to maximize your power. And with always MORE mana returned, this optimization will have everything to please.

A few of our generic buffs (Best Friends II and III, Cybernetic buffs, Achilles Heel) are way too strong, and that’s more of a problem since so many comps can use them.

Scorch continues to give Furiail wings, and as Xayah gets buffed, we’re going to make sure these comps don’t turn the world to ashes. The reign of fire is not for now!

BUGS FIXES


  • Heal Tooltip: The Hextech Gunblade now indicates that it heals the ally with the lowest HP percentage.
  • Attack damage ratios for Xayah, Corki, and Talon now appear in their tooltip.
  • Zhonya’s Hourglass now indicates its wielder is untargetable while in stasis.
  • Sy’fen’s tooltip now correctly states that her dash range is 2.5 hexes.
  • Fixed a bug that caused players to reach levels 8 and 9 one round late in Hyper Roll.
  • Fixed a bug where some missions did not progress in Hyper Roll and Double Up.
  • It was enough to change Shen: Shen’s dodge zone now appears correctly at all star levels.
  • Lillia’s second skill cast now hits even if Lillia dashes.
  • If there are no targets in range when casting Flame Breath, Shyvana now moves into range of a target.
  • If there are no targets in range when casting her skill, Qiyana now moves into range of a target.
  • Shi Oh Yu’s third attack projection now triggers at the target’s location if the target is outside of Shi Oh Yu’s basic attack range.
  • Volibear’s Chain Lightning should no longer appear to pop out of the board.
  • Fixed an issue where overtime visual effects would sometimes persist on a player’s screen after a PvE round.
  • With the same use of Kayle’s Intervention, Zoe will no longer grant armor and magic resistance multiple times to the same unit if the number of targets she tries to aim for is greater than the number of living allies .
  • Furialwings no longer gain rage when carrying a mana item while enraged.
  • Runaan’s Hurricane no longer deals the bonus magic damage of Scalebreakers.
  • Cosmic type will now look at previous combat to determine your Cosmic units’ star levels bug).
