While we have learned a lot of details about Samsung’s next foldable smartphones, there are also the next Galaxy S25s in the works, including the largest, the biggest, the most technically advanced, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Thanks to leaker Ice Universe via X, we learn more about what it might look like.

A Galaxy S25 Ultra that’s softer in your hands

Initially, Ice Universe revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s edges would be ” really rounded“, unlike those of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which are very sharp. Too much for him as for some users, who question the comfort of the phone. Enough to perhaps make it look more like the other Galaxy S25, but also the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which had rounded edges. Naturally, the S Pen would still be there, integrated into the smartphone.

Another detail revealed: the Galaxy S25 Ultra would be 8.4 mm thick. Which would make it the thinnest Ultra model in recent years. Indeed, the Galaxy S21, S22 and S23 Ultra have a thickness of 8.9 mm, while the S24 Ultra has a thickness of 8.6 mm.

What we know about the Galaxy S25 Ultra

What is becoming increasingly established is that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would choose to be equipped only with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, Qualcomm’s next high-end SoC. No Exynos on the programa priorisince Samsung is reportedly experiencing some production issues. A chip supported by up to 16 GB of RAM, no doubt to boost the performance of AI features.

On the photo side, Samsung would opt for a modified JN1 sensor, smaller than that of the S24 Ultra, with a definition of 50 Mpx. The telephoto lens would be replaced by a new 1/3″ ISOCELL sensor, larger than that of the previous model, also 50 Mpx. But the main sensor would not change, and would still be 200 Mpx.
