Like every week where there is one, the next chapter of One Piece was revealed before its time. Between flashbacks, familiar faces and small revelations, here is the complete summary of chapter 1100.
After four years spent in Wano, fans of the One Piece anime will finally be able to discover the sequel: Egghead’s arc. For loyal readers of the manga, serious things have started for quite a while now. The last chapters even take the time to clarify the mystery surrounding one of the emblematic characters of the work. As expected, the flashbacks continue. So Eiichiro Oda has prepared some big revelations for us for chapter 1100 of One Piece. There may be some disappointments because it’s not as crazy as hoped, but we finally know a little more.
One Piece Chapter 1100 Leaked
The flashbacks around Kuma and Bonney continue. One Piece Chapter 1100 picks up right where the previous one left off. Father and daughter arrived at Vegapunk’s laboratory, where the scientist and his future test subject made a deal. The chapter begins as Kizaru and some marines, including Drake, arrive at Egghead. Vegapunk having arrived in this new laboratory after Punk Hazard’s accident, he was unable to realize that spy snails were hidden everywhere. Kizaru brings Saturn’s to the scientist. The Dean then explains that he is aware that he is negotiating illegally with a pirate, but admits that Kuma would be an excellent host for his cloning project. He will accept the deal but on three additional conditions.
Kuma will have to become a Grand Corsair, replacing the one who was beaten by Ace a few days ago. He will also have to become a human weapon and undergo cyborg surgery. Finally, his mind will have to be completely wiped once the operation is complete. Vegapunk was furious, because in his eyes erasing a cyborg’s memory and consciousness is the same as killing a human, but Saturn replied categorically: “You are in no position to negotiate ‘Navy scientist’.” And despite all that, Kuma cries with joy: he will finally be able to save Bonney. Vegapunk explains that her daughter’s operation will take 6 months, after which she will have to rest for a year before she can go outside. For Kuma, the surgery will take 2 years.
Return of familiar faces
Saturn explains that the child will be taken hostage, for fear that the future Grand Corsair will change his mind once she is saved. She will then be under the protection of the World Government for a full year, after which she will be released and Kuma’s mind erased. Another condition is that the father and daughter will not be able to see each other again during his six-month treatment. The former slave accepts without hesitation, but asks in exchange that Bonney be sent to the Kingdom of Sorbet in order to protect her from the truth behind their agreement. Her interlocutor accepts, as long as she is under the surveillance of the World Government. One Piece chapter 1100 then continues with a montage where we see Kuma, Bonney, Vegapunk and Sentoumaru spending time together and becoming friends during these six months. Even Kizaru is close to them, joining in at their pizza parties and dancing with them.
We also get an overview of the respective operations of the two characters. After Bonney’s six months of treatment, the child is sent to the island of Sorbet as agreed. She will then live in the church, but her medical team is only made up of government agents, their leader being a member of CP8 named “Alpha”. Kuma then says his last words to Bonney: “Thank you for being born.” Without knowing the fate of her father figure and that she will never see him again, she just laughs. One Piece Chapter 1100 continues with a montage of Kuma fulfilling his duty as Grand Corsair. We see the reaction of many One Piece characters, including Doflamingo, Ace, Whitebeard, Sabo, Alvida, Crocodile, Miss All Sunday, Koby, Koala and Dragon.
A wild Luffy appears
One Piece Chapter 1100 ends with Kuma writing a letter to Bonney, explaining that he is exploring many islands that they can discover together one day. The last page shows Luffy as a teenager running away from a tiger in the forest. Kuma’s ship has just arrived at Fuchsia Village. The Grand Corsaire receives a call via snail phone. A government agent explains to him that he has received a new order… We will have to wait until chapter 1101 to find out what was asked of him. Luckily there won’t be a break next week, so we’ll find out soon enough.
