The suspense is over. The name of the person who will succeed Laurent Ruquier at the controls of the cult show “Les Enfants de la télé” has just been revealed. And it is a famous presenter from France Télévisions who will take her place from the start of the next school year. Laurent Ruquier will now be on the BFMTV news channel.
A few days before the start of the school year, the media transfer window is coming to an end, but we still have some nice surprises in store! The proof is: the name of the new presenter of the TV kids has just been revealed. And, it is none other than Laurence Boccolini, France 2’s flagship personality, who will replace Laurent Ruquier at the controls of the show. This was announced by Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez, director of antennas and programs at France Télévisions, in an interview with Free lunch this Thursday, August 24.
A return scheduled for the month of October
“The departure of Laurent Ruquier, which we did not want, happened very late in the season. He left Children of TV, the cult TV show he hosted, a little orphan. We spent the summer thinking and we chose to trust a talented, popular host, who loves popular culture”, he said before specifying that the show will return in the month of October: “The return of TV kids will be done rather at the beginning of October since the month of September is a little impacted by the matches of the Rugby World Cup”.
Laurent Ruquier every evening from Monday to Thursday on BFMTV
