Did you know ? Avac Ashkal, the Tunis investigation, Youssef Chebbi wanted to try his hand at genre film, which is rather rare in Tunisia. The filmmaker explains: “Our cinema is often confined to a frontal approach to reality, to a few themes leaving little room for imagination: welcoming Tunisia where the weather is nice and warm, markets, spices, or the contradictions between modernity and tradition, the status of women, religion…”

Did you know ? Hugo Becker plays Charette. To prepare for this physical role, he underwent intense training in horse riding and fencing, with stuntmen from Puy du Fou. The filmmakers state: “He really wet the shirt to ensure his gallop and fight scenes himself. He prepared a lot and was involved. He is very demanding with himself and attentive to every detail.”
