The city of Lille will file a complaint after the discovery of several “pro-Nazi and pro-Russia” tags in a stadium.
The mayor of Lille Martine Aubry announced on Saturday that the City would file a complaint after the discovery of several “pro-Nazi and pro-Russia” tags, including several swastikas, inside a Lille stadium where a football tournament in favor of Ukraine.
Saturday morning, “on the occasion of the tournament organized in favor of Ukraine by the International Solidarity association created by Ukrainian refugees” at the Jean Baratte stadium in Lille Fives, “pro-Nazi and pro-Russia tags were discovered within the enclosure of the equipment and on a truck of the association”, indicated the city councilor in a press release.
“I condemn this act in the strongest terms. The City will file a complaint, as it has always done in these types of circumstances,” she added.
