Technical incident or cyberattack?
The event, described as “ technical incident on the Internet network of the City of Marseille » by the municipality, disrupts several services. Starting with that of Allô Mairie, the proximity and exchange service between citizens and city services, which is unavailable.
Other slowdowns in activity may also be noted, particularly within sector town halls and local municipal offices in the area. The town hall indicates that it is working on the complete restoration of the affected services, and sends its apologies to the people of Marseille.
According to city services, this would not be a cyberattack. However, the services affected and the timing (city council monitoring) leave room for doubt.
