The community is angry: Crypto.com cancels reward program (podcast)

Crypto.com is known for its aggressive marketing style. The Bitcoin exchange from Singapore always impresses with sensational sports marketing campaigns – and the lucrative reward program. Using the Visa cards that the company issues, customers can receive cashback rewards in cryptocurrency. Depending on the amount of CRO staked, there is a return of up to 8 percent. Or rather there was. Because to the displeasure of the community, crypto.com has significantly stamped out the reward program. What does this mean for card holders?

Fed hikes interest rates

After the US Federal Reserve raised the key interest rate by 0.5 percentage points to up to 1 percent, the crypto markets initially did not react at all. But in the meantime Bitcoin (BTC) has also given way significantly. The crypto lead currency is trading around 8 percent in the red at the time of writing.
