The evening program will soon be growing: Sat.1 has announced the new series “Die Landarztpraxis” with Caroline Frier for 2024.

The pre-evening program can look forward to new entertainment from the idyll of the Bavarian foothills of the Alps: As the broadcaster Sat.1 announced, the Munich broadcaster is currently shooting the new pre-evening series “Die Landarztpraxis” on and around Lake Schliersee. “The Country Doctor’s Practice”: That’s what the new series is about

Actress Caroline Frier (40) takes on the lead role in the new TV series as a single country doctor, Dr. Sarah King. Together with her teenage daughter Leo König, whose role “Bibi & Tina” actress Katharina Hirschberg (21) takes over, she comes from Berlin to the tranquil village of Wiesenkirchen am Schliersee for her new job. There wins Dr. König quickly gained the trust of the people from Wiesenkirch – she treats locals, holiday guests and from time to time a cow.

In the Alps, however, not only new professional tasks await the country doctor, but also love. Two men are turning her head: village doctor Dr. Fabian Kroiß (played by Oliver Franck, 48) and mountain rescuer Max Raichinger (played by Alexander Koll, 43). She also carries a secret with her that she soon can no longer keep to herself.

“Die Landärztin” will be on Sat.1’s early evening program from 2024 and will also be available via the Joyn streaming service.
