The Covid strikes again in LCK but this time at Hanwha Life Esports

With the Lunar New Year, most teams playing in the LCKthe Korean League of League of Legends, released their players so they could spend the holidays with their families. However, with the Covid still present, it did not take long so that these holidays turn into a real period of contamination. Many players have therefore returned to training positive for Covid, as at DRX and NS RedForce.

From now on, it is at Hanwha Life Esports that new victims of the Covid are to be deplored. Two of their players as well as two members of the coaching staff tested positive for Covid todayforcing the structure to establish players from their Challenger team to ensure the continuity of their LCK matches, while respecting the rules of the league.

It was yesterday that Hanwha Life Esports announced that cases of Covid had been confirmed in its ranks. They then announced have their entire team tested for safety, and so these are the head coach His “Kezman” Dae-young, the coach Kim “Bibra” Hyun-sik, the jungler Kim “Willer” Jeong-hyun and the botlaner Lee “SamD” Jae-hoon who tested positive. The other players meanwhile have so far all tested negative. So they are players from the Challenger team who will have to ensure the positions of jungler and botlaner of the structure for the upcoming matches. So we should see Koo “Seonbi” Kwan-mo and Cho “Cheoni” Seung-mo Join Hanwha Life Esports Premier Team on League of Legends soon.

With these Covid cases, Hanwha Life Esports gets additional issues, she who did not have such a glorious start to the season. She is currently in 7th place in the LCK standings with 3 wins in 10 games and will therefore have to face this week to Liiv SANDBOX and T1, all with Team Challenger players on their roster.
