The Crowded Room: Disturbing Thriller Miniseries Starring “Spider-Man” Star Tom Holland Launches on Apple TV+

• On June 9, 2023, the new thriller series “The Crowded Room” will be launched on the Apple TV+ streaming service.
• Initially, three episodes appear in a row with subsequent weekly publication rhythm.

New to Apple TV+ today is the exciting thriller miniseries The Crowded Room. Starring well-known Hollywood stars like Tom Holland (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) and Amanda Seyfried (“The Dropout”), it tells the true story of a young man struggling with mental illness and getting caught up in a criminal case gets involved.

“The Crowded Room” is based on the novel “The Minds of Billy Milligan” by Daniel Keyes and takes place in 1979 in New York City. Young Danny Sullivan is arrested by the police after his involvement in a fatal shooting. However, during his questioning by interrogator Rya Goodwin, Danny’s mysterious life story paints an unexpected picture of what happened.

Although Danny desperately protests his innocence all the time during the interrogation, many of his statements just don’t add up. The evidence at hand eventually leads officers to a surprising conclusion and a life-changing revelation.

“The Crowded Room” appears weekly on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ will release the first three episodes of “The Crowded Room” simultaneously on June 9th. In the further course of the week, a new episode will appear every Friday. The first season consists of ten episodes, each lasting around 40 minutes. The season one finale, The Crowded Room, will air July 28 on Apple TV+.
