Not only Dominic West, but also his son Senan will star in the fifth season of “The Crown”. He gives the young Prince William.

The actor of the young Prince William (39) for the fifth season of the Netflix series “The Crown” has been found. Senan West, the 13-year-old son of actor Dominic West (52), will slip into the role. That reports among other things “The Hollywood Reporter”. So it will be his first screen appearance. However, father Dominic West will be able to give him advice and support on his debut. He embodies Prince Charles (73) in the new episodes.

New season, new line-up

“The Crown” also returns in season five with a completely new line-up. In addition to the father-son duo, Imelda Staunton (65) as Queen Elizabeth II (95), Jonathan Pryce (74) as Prince Philip (1921-2021) and Lesley Manville (65) as Princess Margaret (1930-2002) see. Elizabeth Debicki (31) will portray Princess Diana (1961-1997) and Olivia Williams (53) will portray Camilla Parker Bowles (74). Jonny Lee Miller (49) plays Prime Minister John Major (78).

The fictional series is about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. After the fourth season of “The Crown” covered the period from 1979 to 1990, the new episodes are set to take place in the early to mid-1990s. The plot is supposed to end in 1997, the year in which Lady Diana was killed in a car accident in Paris. The new episodes should be available on Netflix from November 2022.
