"The Crown" season 4 finally has its teaser

Netflix has just unveiled the first extracts of season 4 of "The Crown", devoted to the relationship between Lady Diana and Prince Charles. The character of the Princess of Wales appears truer than the original.

A royal expectation! November 15, 2020, the fourth season of the series The Crown will be available on Netflix. To make fans wait, the platform unveiled this October 13 new images, where it is about the "romance" between Lady Diana, interpreted by a disturbing Emma Corrin of resemblance, from the silhouette to the gestures, and the Prince Charles, played as in season 3 by Josh O'Connor. In an agonizing trailer, where a voiceover telling "what fairy tales are made of" covers the oppressive ticking of a clock, we discover the bride and groom when they meet, before their spectacular wedding at Saint Paul's Cathedral in London. Impossible not to be blown away by the famous "meringue" dress of the Princess of Hearts, shown at the end of the teaser and reproduced to perfection … A further proof of the care taken by the production to this historical reconstruction.

This new section therefore focuses on the 1980s. A period marked not only by the arrival of young Diana Spencer in the world of the Windsor clan, but also the beginning of ten years of scandals, linked in particular to Charles's deceptions with Camilla Parker-Bowles. Not to mention the major role of Margaret Thatcher, the first woman at the head of the British government known for her iron hardness. The teaser presents us in this role the formidable American actress Gillian Anderson, seen in X-Files and Sex Education. Definitely, a cast with small onions.
