Emma Corrin (24, "Pennyworth") becomes Princess Diana: In the fourth season of the Netflix series "The Crown", she plays the role of the late "Queen of Hearts". In the October issue of the British "Vogue", on the cover of which she can be seen, the British woman speaks about what it was like to play Diana and tells of the moment when she put on the famous wedding dress. In preparation for the role, she got to know the princess "like a friend," said the 24-year-old. "I know it sounds weird, but I have a great sense of camaraderie with her."
Ten people helped her get dressed
From November 15, she can be seen in the role of 16-year-old Diana Spencer, who meets Prince Charles for the first time during a hunt. In addition to getting to know each other, Diana's debut at Balmoral Castle and the first royal tour with Charles, the series also depicts the couple's royal wedding from 1981 – including the wedding dress. "The Emanuels who designed the original gave us the patterns and then it was made for me," says Corrin. "We shot the scene when you first saw her in her wedding dress – I think it was at Lancaster House in London." Corrin describes the moment she first put the dress on as magical: "I had a team of about ten people who helped me get it on because it's huge. I went out and everyone was completely silent. More than anything what I wear on the show is the dress so … it's her. "
