Daredevil: Born Again, reboot of the original series released on Netflix in 2015, is fast approaching. Scheduled for 2024 on the Disney+ streaming platform, the program has just added actresses Margarita Levieva and Sandrine Holt to its cast, as well as actor Michael Gandolfini.
Charlie Cox back
The three actors thus join Charlie Cox, who returns to his role of Matt Murdock / Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio, back in the skin of Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk. Margarita Levieva notably appeared in the series The Deuce and revengewhen Sandrine Holt is known for her roles in the series House of Cards and The Expanseor the recent American Gigolo on the Paramount+ platform.
Michael Gandolfini is the son of the late James Gandolfini, Tony Soprano in The Sopranosis in particular embodied a young version of the character of his father in the film Many Saints of Newark (2021). The series The Deuce and The Offer are also on his resume.
If no precise information has been given on the characters embodied by these three actors, rumors indicate that Gandolfini would be an ambitious man named Liam from Staten Island, that Levieva could play the new lover of Matt Murdock, when Sandrine Holt would have a sentimental relationship with the Kingpin. This information is obviously to be taken with a grain of salt.
Scheduled on Disney+ for spring 2024, Daredevil: Born Again will have 18 episodes and will not be the direct sequel to the Netflix program broadcast between 2015 and 2018, but a reboot. The Marvel series will be part of Phase 5 of the MCU.
