With the recent presentations of the game, no one really hoped that The Day Before released on March 1, as originally planned. And this, even if Fntastic we promised to release gameplay snippets from the game in the coming days. The concern around the project continues to be verified day after day since the studio today announces yet another postponement for its game, for an altogether surprising reason.

Say goodbye to The Day Before for the month of March. The MMO will not finally be released until November 10 on PC, even if we will take this new date with obviously a lot of tweezers, as the title will have let us down several times. A postponement which therefore comes just before a highly anticipated gameplay presentation, which was to remove doubts about the game that many are beginning to see as a beautiful vapoware.
A coincidence no doubt, and everyone is free to give the benefit of the doubt to the studio which justifies this postponement for the sake of trademark registration. In effect, Fntastic says Steam has blocked the game page since someone owns the brand The Day Before in the United States would have asked for it. The studio explains that when the game was announced in 2021, the brand was free of rights, but that after the announcement, someone would have jumped on the filing of it in the United States before Fntastic. The teams claim to have learned the news on January 19, and promise to be currently in negotiations to settle the dispute. However, the game will be entitled to a big postponement.
As for the promised gameplay video, Fntastic says to consult its lawyers first before knowing when to release it. We don’t want to play the pessimist, but it’s hard not to be skeptical about this project, which multiplies errors as big as this one.
