British actress Diana Rigg is dead. She died at the age of 82 from complications from cancer, her agent confirmed.
Diana Rigga made her role as agent Emma Peel in the television series "Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone" in the 1960s. In the 1969 James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" she played the leading role as Tracy, who even marries James Bond.
From 2013 – at the age of 75 – she gained a new fan base in the TV fantasy series "Game of Thrones" as the scheming Olenna Tyrell. She was nominated for an Emmy three times.
