New York bus hangs on bridge and threatens to crash
An accordion bus in New York has gone astray – he is half dependent on a bridge. The fire brigade tweeted a corresponding photo two hours ago. According to official information from CBS, nine people were injured and the driver was seriously injured. According to the fire department, the passengers were rescued from the bus. The area was closed. Apparently, the accident occurred at the end of the Washington Bridge, which connects Manhattan with the Bronx – not to be confused with the larger and better known George Washington Bridge, which leads over the Hudson River to New Jersey. The "New York Post" reports that the accident occurred at 11:10 pm local time, i.e. at 5:10 am Central European time. There is another street under the bridge, said to be University Avenue in the Bronx.
