US President Donald Trump has described the revelation book of his former National Security Advisor John Bolton as a "compilation of lies and fictional stories". Many of the statements placed under him are "pure fiction," Trump writes on Twitter. Bolton's only aim was to make him look bad.
The US President has rejected Bolton's allegations several times since the contents of his book became known. Trump also referred to Bolton as a "liar".
Bolton, who was Trump's security advisor for almost a year and a half, paints the unflattering picture of a president who primarily pursues his personal interests and is always concerned about his re-election. Bolton also portrays Trump in foreign policy as partially unsuspecting and erratic.
