Samsung’s next entry-level smartphone is revealed through a leak. The information reaching us is credible since it originates from the renowned OnLeaks and the publication MySmartPrice, customary in fact.
A more modern design
We first notice that the Galaxy A35 finally adopts a punch in the screen to house the front camera, while the Galaxy A34 remained with a design relying on a notch in the shape of a drop of water. The fingerprint reader is positioned under the screen.
For the rest, we find thick borders around the panel and integration of sensors on the back specific to Samsung’s style since the Galaxy S23. The edges also seem flatter than on its predecessor.
Approximate dimensions are 161.6 x 78.5mm x 8.2mm. The mobile has a 6.6-inch flat screen. Its technical specifications are not specified by the source, but we can expect a Super AMOLED panel, a definition of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Release for early 2024
Other indiscretions point to the same battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supporting a charging power of up to 25 W. On the camera side, however, there would be changes. A new 50 MP main sensor is in fact expected on the device, accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 2 MP macro lens.
The Galaxy A34 officially appeared in March this year, we can expect its successor to be released around the same time in 2024, or even a little earlier, if it complies with that. the Galaxy S24 is getting ahead of schedule. The Galaxy A35 will ship with One UI 6 (Android 14).
