OnLeaks revealed a 3D render of the Galaxy S24 Ultra to fellow X/Twitter members. Even if the video loop only reveals the design of the front and back of the device, it is enough to confirm that the design of the Samsung flagship is very strongly inspired by that of its predecessor. That said, this very high-end smartphone will still benefit from some changess. Let’s analyze them in detail.

Regarding the Galaxy S24 Ultra screen, SmartPrix, which collaborated with OnLeaks to publish these renders, claims that the panel will always measure 6.8 inches. With measurements of 162.3 x 79 x 8.7 mm, the device should be smaller, but wider and thicker than its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra (163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm) . The screen will likely be flat, which will reduce the display area accordingly. No change announced however in terms of the technology adopted, it should always be a AMOLED LTPO refreshed at 120Hz.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will not present any surprises in terms of design

As for the device’s photo module, Samsung will not change a winning team. We will thus find four sensors and laser autofocus right on the back cover. The company’s S Pen stylus will always have its storage location in the lower edge of the smartphone. OnLeaks claims that Samsung is also banking on UWB technology, “by incorporating a UWB antenna (Ultra-Wideband) on the right edge of the Galaxy S24 Ultra”.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will represent the pinnacle of Samsung’s technological know-how, but the Galaxy S24 “in short”, will nonetheless remain a high-end smartphone. Its design will be very different from what we find in the Korean giant’s catalog. Indeed, the general opinion is that the Galaxy S24 really draws a lot of inspiration from the iPhone.
