Discover without further delay what the future Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will look like.

Because yes, once again, the leaks have preceded the manufacturer’s communication.

The Google Pixel 8 is revealed before its time

Last March, we discovered many details about the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. We had learned in particular that the next flagships of the American giant should sport a brand new photo sensor and that they would embark on the staggered HDR technology. Beyond the camera, we were also able to collect some clues about its design, and in particular its size, which today seem to be confirmed through leaks.

The website TechGoing shared with us exclusively a first look at what the Google Pixel 8 should look like in its protective case. From what we can immediately see, the device features its usual raised camera bar with its curved edges. Rumors also evoked a slightly reduced form factor compared to its big brother and this seems to be confirmed with these first images.

Google Pixel 8 Pro: what’s new on the horizon?

Don’t worry, the Pro version of the Pixel 8 also got its own leaks. Always according to the images shared by TechGoing, we can see a preview of the device case. The three cameras will therefore indeed be united in the same place and we will find, on their right, the laser AF and the LED flash. According to the latest rumors, the Pixel 8 Pro would have a 6.52-inch screen, compared to 6.7 inches for the Pixel 7 Pro. This year’s Pro model would therefore also benefit from a slight reduction in screen size.

As a reminder, the Mountain View company should formalize its new smartphones at the start of the school year in September. By then, Google should logically have presented us with its very first folding smartphone and its Pixel tablet. The giant will indeed hold its annual show on May 10 to unveil its future devices.

Google Pixel 7 Pro

  • Its value for money
  • A successful and premium design
  • A superb bright screen

2021 will have been a good Pixel vintage, 2022 really is just as much. Without revolutionizing its formula, Google manages to refine it in order to offer a complete smartphone without major defects. More premium in its design, certainly, the Pixel 7 Pro is one of those phones that amaze, and clash, as soon as you put it on a table. With its superb bright screen and its new Sensor G2 chip, it is ready to entertain you long, wide and across. In terms of photography, he keeps his crown on Android. Zoom, wide-angle sensor, portrait, “Night” mode, ergonomics… It surpasses all the competition. Only Apple continues to stand up to it. Only complaint, too bad it is not as good in video as in photo. However, we trust Google to keep improving its copy.

Finally, its only Achilles’ heel could come from its charging, which is too slow and its autonomy, which is satisfactory, but not exceptional, especially when used in strong light.

Anyway, with its new flagship, Google responds perfectly to our initial questioning. Yes, it is possible to offer a complete and ultra-premium smartphone under the 1,000 euro mark. The Pixel 7 Pro is proof of that.
