The developers of Dead Cells return with even faster action in Windblown

New roguelike in sight. After developing the awesome
Dead Cells
which received a horde of additional updates, Motion Twin presented its new project at the Game Awards: Windblown. A “dazzling action roguelike”, whose Early Access start on Steam is scheduled for 2024.

The trailer presents us with a game that wants to be
“severe but always fair”, featuring the Voltigeurs. Warriors living on the Ark, a floating island on the verge of being devoured by a vortex. And we clearly feel the studio’s touch, but also the emphasis on speed. The fight sequences seem just as nervous as they are demanding.

Motion Twin promises us a game that ticks all the right roguelike boxes. We can thus mention the possibility of moving from weapon to weapon, of adapting your build according to your journey, and of open and impressive levels, full of secrets. Which, considering what was produced on Dead Cells, doesn’t really sound like empty talk. In any case, the French developers want to take the same route with Windblown, and listen to feedback from the community to create the best possible game. See you in the coming months to learn a little more about the title.
