Unveiled during the March State of Play, The DioField Chronicle already announced its release date. The strategic RPG signed by Square Enix and Lancarse is due for September 22, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XBox Series and Switch. And for the most impatient to discover the title, a demo is already scheduled for August 10. This will offer the first chapter of the story and can be used when the game is finally released in September.
The DioField Chronicle takes place in a medieval universe where the world of men is mired in an endless war. The battles to seize the island of Diofield and its jade deposits are terrible. It is in this context of flame and chaos that you will have in your hands the command of the “Blue Foxes”, a group of elite mercenaries. It remains to be seen whether the Blue Foxes will be synonymous with hope or, on the contrary, with tragedy.
On the gameplay side, the fights take place in real time according to a system called Real Time Tactical Battle. It’s up to you to assess the combat conditions in real time and then issue your orders while taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of your team. Learn to juggle between the different classes and skills of your fighters to complete your mission.
