Things are going haywire in the Altona branch of Feinkost Kolinski. The turnover is not right, the health department is approaching and the boss is putting pressure on branch manager Thorsten Kruse. At the annual summer party, the dispute with the other Kolinski branches escalates.
Some romantic relationships in the supermarket crew also cause stress in the chaotic everyday work. Can the team get back together?

In season 2 you see again Marc Hosemann as Thorsten, Bruno Alexander as Titus, Klara Lange as Pina, Ludger Bökelmann as Peter, rapper Nura Habib Omer as Flora, Marie Bloching as Lia, Merlin Sandmeyer as Jonas, David Ali Rashed as Sammy, Doris Kunstmann as Mrs. Jensen and Wolfgang Michael as Wilhelm.
As in season 1, you can look forward to some guest appearances in the new episodes, including Frederick Lau and Kida Khodr Ramadan.
“Die Discounter” is produced by Christian Ulmen and Carsten Kelber. The screenplay, direction and editing are in the hands of Oskar Belton, Emil Belton and Bruno Alexander from “Kleine Brüder”. Max Mattis from “Kleine Brüder” also acts as producer, Katrin Weikart as book producer.
