Stéphane Rotenberg, the host of “Top Chef”, will open a bistro dedicated to the M6 broadcast, according to information from our colleagues from the newspaper “Le Parisien – Today in France”. The restaurant, located in the Paris region, will only serve dishes created by the candidate chefs during the filming of the culinary competition.

A pub Top chef will open its doors in the Paris region. Customers of this restaurant with a hundred seats will be able to taste the dishes seen in the M6 cooking show. It is the host of the show, Stéphane Rotenberg, who is behind this project revealed by our colleagues from the newspaper Le Parisien – Today in France. The host called on several former candidates to compose the card: Arnaud Delevenne and Louise Bourrat, the finalists for season 13 currently broadcast, Camille Delcroix and Victor Mercier from season 9, Coline Faulquier from season 7, Thibault Sombardier from season 5, and Norbert Tarayre from season 3.

Menu at €39.90 and meal in the dark

And the host intends to appeal to other candidates, even those who have arrived less far in the show. The idea is to offer a starter-main course-dessert menu at €39.90, well below the prices of the gourmet restaurants where most of the candidates officiate. The bistro will only serve dishes that will recall the show. Items from the set will also be displayed in the restaurant. Customers will also be able to see on screens the passages in the program of the dishes they taste.

A mythical Top Chef event will also be recreated in the restaurant: the black box. The principle is to enjoy your meal in the dark, to guess the menu and focus on the taste. The opening of the bistro Top chef is scheduled for next July, in Suresnes, in the Hauts-de-Seine.
