Ubisoft recently held a conference, giving us more information on its current projects. Naturally, The Division license held an important place, given that the company has two games in development. The first is Heartland, a free-to-play for traditional platforms. The second is Resurgence, a mobile game.
During this event, we were able to discover new images, confirming the presence of the Dark Zones in the title. As a reminder, these are areas in which players can fight in PvPvE, choosing whether or not to join forces with other players, while trying to overcome threats. The purpose of entering these Dark Zones is also to get as many rewards as possible.
The Division Resurgence will offer us an experience quite similar to the two games already available, and very popular, with however some revised features, to work perfectly on mobile support. But the main game modes will be present. Naturally, it will be possible to improve its weapons and equipment, while choosing a specialization. Everything will be played in third person, and Ubisoft promises an intense experience, even on mobile.
No release date has yet been shared. but we should see The Division Resurgence land within a few months, at most. In the meantime, you can still sign up for the beta, which will be held in the fall.
