The Doc and the Véto on France 3: what is this new episode worth with Dounia Coesens and Michel Cymes?

Dounias Coesens and Michel Cymes return this Tuesday evening to France 3 for a new episode of “La Doc et le Véto”, which will see the two friends having to deal with a toxic gas affecting humans and animals in the region.

After two first opuses, broadcast in 2021 and 2022, which brought together an average of 4.5 million viewers, La Doc et le Véto returns this Tuesday April 18 from 9:10 p.m. on France 3 for a new episode still led by the duo Dounia Coesens (More beautiful life) and Michel Cymes.

In “Le Lac du Diable”, the inhabitants of the small village of Valerande-les-Chantelles and its surroundings seem strangely all affected by the same disease. Both humans and beasts are dropping like flies, victims of serious lung problems.

Emma and Pierre will then team up to solve this mystery which seems to have originated at Lac de Crussignac, which was the scene several years earlier of a tragedy, which still haunts the minds of the inhabitants of the region.

At the same time, Emma, who had discovered in the previous episode that her mother and Pierre had been seeing each other a few months before her birth, tries to find out if the veterinarian might not be her father, whom she never knew. Of course, the latter, who fears the result, is not ready to make it easy for him.

A new episode worth watching?

As in the first two opuses, which dealt in particular with the place of youth in the rural world, this new episode of La Doc et le Véto once again offers us a window on the problems that the medical profession can encounter in the region.

Here, the veterinarian and the doctor are confronted with a strange gas that affects humans but also animals. If for them, a logical explanation is necessarily at the origin of this phenomenon, for the inhabitants of the small village, it is quite different.

In order to make the truth heard, and above all find a solution to this problem which could have serious consequences for Valerande-les-Chantelles and its surroundings, Emma and Pierre will have to fight against beliefs, superstitions, myths and legends. in the countryside.

Nicolas ROBIN – FTV – 17 JUNE FICTION

If, as in the first two opuses, the scenario, always written by Sylviane Corgiat and Bruno Lecigne, sometimes lacks subtlety, we still take as much pleasure in finding the calm and peaceful setting of La Doc et le Véto.

The duo formed by Dounia Coesens, who is now in the cast of the soap opera Tomorrow belongs to us, and Michel Cymes still works just as well, even if the mystery around the relationship between the two protagonists brings little to the plot. , and just serves as a comic spring for the authors.

Note that a new installment in the series will be broadcast on Tuesday April 25 at 9:10 p.m. on France 3. The Doc and the Véto will this time have to face the difficult cohabitation between breeders and vultures in the region.
