Are the "dream ship" shoots really in danger for the New Year episodes? This is what ZDF says about the rumors of corona delays.
Is the "Traumschiff" filming for the two episodes of the travel series, which traditionally aired at Christmas and New Years, really in danger? Recently there were rumors of possible delays because the cruise ship MS Amadea, which is normally used for filming, has to stay in port due to Corona.
But the station reassures the fans: "As planned, two new episodes for 'Das Traumschiff' will be shot from the end of January / beginning of February as planned," said ZDF in general when asked by spot on news.
And what exactly about the recordings that would be shot on board the cruise ship? "Even with regard to the scenes on board the ship, according to the current state of planning, there will be no changes – they will probably appear from March," the spokeswoman continues.
The broadcaster also commented on another rumor. "There will also be shooting in the Maldives," confirms the ZDF. "However, the fact that the same goal will be seen at Christmas and Easter does not apply," it continues. It had previously been said that this would be the case for the first time due to necessary changes to the shooting schedule.
The current situation is being observed
The procedure should be adjusted regularly, however, because the ZDF also announces: "The ZDF closely monitors the current situation and legal provisions at the respective locations and works together with the production companies on appropriate hygiene concepts for the shooting."
"The Dream Ship" has been sailing the oceans since 1981 and calling at the most beautiful destinations. At Easter 2021, actress Collien Ulmen-Fernandes (39, "jerks.") Celebrates as ship doctor Dr. Jessica Delgado made her debut. In November, she posted some impressions of the "shooting in the Maldives" on Instagram. At the time, she had of course not yet revealed that it was the "dream ship".
