Linda Evans will honor "The Dream Ship" with her presence. One reason: The "Denver Clan" star has a lot of fans in Germany.
She is celebrated by her fans in Germany – and: "It just worked out," explains US actress Linda Evans (78) "Bild am Sonntag" about her appearance in the TV series "Das Traumschiff" (ZDF), which took place on December 26th is on TV: "The producers called me and asked me if I would like to play the role," said the 78-year-old. "I haven't shot in the last few years. But sometimes the right offers just come at the perfect time. That was the case with the dream ship."
She always got the most fan mail from Germany, says the star from "The Denver Clan". "And that's still the case today. So I thought it was a great idea to act in a German film." The fact that German was spoken in front of the camera was initially difficult for her: "Of course I didn't understand a word and didn't even know how to behave or when I would be on duty. But then we have a way pretty quickly found."
"An adventure"
Back in March, Linda Evans wrote about her "Traumschiff" shoot on Instagram that she had never been to a set where everyone speaks a foreign language – "THAT was really an acting adventure". She also said of her colleagues on the set: "They were exceptionally great and friendly."
You can see the guest appearance in the episode "The Dream Ship: Cape Town" on December 26th (ZDF, 8:15 pm). Evans will play a wealthy passenger. In the following, Marianne Sägebrecht (75) will also be there as sister Magdalena, and Kai Schumann (44, "Heldt"), "Let's Dance" judge Motsi Mabuse (39) and Sarah Elena Timpe (35), known from " Storm of Love ", play along. Joko Winterscheidt (41) as Moritz Parger will also be there again when captain Max Parger (Florian Silbereisen) and his crew go on air.
