Becoming America’s youngest billionaire in the early 2000s, Elizabeth Holmes rose to sudden fame by inventing a machine capable of analyzing a single drop of blood and issuing a diagnosis. Adam McKay and Jennifer Lawrence reunited again
But this story that fascinated the United States will soon be adapted into a feature film. After working together on Don’t Look Up, director Adam McKay and actress Jennifer Lawrence are set to team up again for the film Bad Blood, adapted from the book of the same name, which chronicles the rise and fall of fall of Elizabeth Holmes and her startup Theranos.

Adam McKay told Insider that Bad Blood would likely be her next movie and said the actress is still working on the character: “I haven’t made him do it for me yet“, he said about the voice. “She said she was working there.“
At the time of the interview, in January 2022, McKay admits he hasn’t pressed Lawrence about it yet because she was still pregnant with her first child at that time. “She was born to play this role“, added the director about Jennifer Lawrence playing Elizabeth Holmes. “For the voice, she said she felt good about it. Announced since 2016, Bad Blood is however slow to see the light of day. However, the announcement of the purchase of the film rights by Apple TV+ last December suggests that its production should not be (too) long.
