On December 15, 2020, the evening of Delphine Jubillar’s disappearance in the Tarn, her husband Cédric Jubillar was washing a duvet when the gendarmerie arrived at the home, according to the authorities. This blanket, with which the missing nurse slept, was a major element against him since it allowed his indictment in June 2021. If the duvet is supposed to be a central element of the backrest, it has only been subject to expertise since July 2021, according to information from The Dispatch. This is also the case for the siphons of the washing machine. The purpose of these analyzes is to look for possible clues that could direct investigators to a crime scene.
This analysis comes late, eight months after the disappearance of the 33-year-old nurse, according to Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers. “There is something to be scandalized and revolted since this element that we are presented with charge is finally handed over for expertise at the end of July when the justice had this duvet since December”, explain Me Alexandre Martin and Me Emmanuelle Franck, Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers. “Contrary to what the prosecution claimed, this quilt was found in the drum of the machine 34 hours after the arrival of the first gendarmes, on December 16 at 4:50 am, in the Jubillar house”, specifies Alexandre Martin.

What was Cédric Jubillar doing with this duvet?
Cédric Jubillar, meanwhile, has already explained the reasons for this laundry. He explained that he did not know what to do while waiting for the arrival of the gendarmes: “It was to keep me busy.” The 33-year-old father was indicted on June 18, 2021 for aggravated murder. For now, Cédric Jubillar continues to proclaim his innocence and claims not to be involved in the disappearance of his wife. The couple were in the process of divorce at the time of the incident. Cédric Jubillar should be heard in October 2021 by the investigating judges.
