The Dying Light franchise has exceeded 30 million games sold


This spectacular milestone, the Polish studio has reached in less than ten years and with only two games released respectively in 2015 and 2022. “These exceptional figures speak for themselves and confirm the success of the Dying Light franchise. We couldn’t have done this without our amazing community. I want to take this opportunity to thank them again for their great support. We have ambitious plans to not only develop and support the game even more, but also to expand it to other mediums“, comments Oleg Klapovskiy, commercial director of Techland.

A beautiful parkour

Techland takes the opportunity to launch its year 2023 with the second community update of Dying Light 2which brings community-requested features, including cross-gen online play on PlayStation and Xbox, as well as gameplay improvements. Techland confirms that it has a five-year follow-up plan and will provide more details later regarding its program for the year.

While continuing to take care of Dying Light 2, Techland has set to work on an open world fantasy action-RPG which will also be a brand new license. In a series of statistics shared on Twitterwe also learn that Techland has more than 400 employees, 71% of whom work in the production and development of games (the rest being attached to marketing, administration and economic development).
