Note that the bonus for the lowest-income households would be maintained at €7,000, as in 2023. It is intended for households whose reference tax income per share is less than or equal to €14,089. As for the aid of €1,000 for used electric vehicles, it would simply be eliminated. In short, the government is less and less generous towards those who wish to switch to electric mobility.
This new ecological bonus could encourage manufacturers to practice an ever more aggressive commercial policy, for example by absorbing the reduction of €1,000 to maintain the same prices as before. In a market where competition is increasing, some companies will do this to gain in attractiveness. This will be especially true for those whose catalog is not affected by the environmental score, like Peugeot and Renault. The list of eligible cars was published a few days ago.
