The Edge browser is about to roll out in the enterprise

Announced several months ago, Edge for Business, the version of Microsoft Edge designed for professionals, is coming in a handful of days.

Edge for Business is coming next week

Last May, Microsoft announced, during its Build 2023 conference, the arrival of its first mode dedicated to businesses: Edge for Business. Designed to meet the needs and requirements of professionals, this version of the browser will combine tools adapted to increased security and performance. If we did not know until now when its deployment would take place, the Redmond firm has just informed us in a blog post published on August 4th.

It is therefore in the week of August 17, on the occasion of the deployment of Edge 116, that this mode reserved for companies and organizations will take its first steps. Be aware that all people who wish to identify themselves with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) will be systematically redirected to Edge for Business.
