The EGRET II Mini will be entitled to 10 new cartridge games

A bundle with the mini terminal will also be available on the same date, for a little less than 20,680 yen (€150), even if the fairly short pre-order period (from September 2 to 21) announces that stocks will undoubtedly be limited in a first time.

For aesthetes, this collection will cover Taito’s period between 1984 and 1996, when the home arcade was still wishful thinking and emulation in its infancy. As you can see in this trailer, the selection held stabbing games like Great Swordman and Ogon no Shiroshoot-them-ups like slapfight, Twin Hawk, Gekirindan and Grid Seekeror the highly demanded Pu.Li.Ru.La and his crazy beat’em up universe.

On the beat’em up side, precisely, riding fight and its futuristic universe complete the action, unless of course you prefer the isometric view of Light Bringer inspiration heroic fantasy. The last game of the selection, Cleopatra Fortune was also part of puzzle games what the community hoped for in the initial selection, proof that Taito has visibly taken feedback into account. Obviously, all of this testifies to a fairly sharp selection, but the retrogamers and the members of the Coin-Op Legacy association cannot miss such an appointment.
