Carbios and the European Investment Bank (EIB) today announced the signing of a € 30 million loan contract supported by the European Commission’s InnovFin energy demonstration program. “We are very happy with this agreement signed with the European Investment Bank and I would like to thank all the stakeholders who have contributed to its realization,” commented Emmanuel Ladent, CEO of Carbios. This EIB financing is critical as the industrialization and licensing of our C-ZYME ™ recycling technology accelerates. After the operational launch of our industrial demonstrator in September 2021, this funding will allow Carbios to scale up and establish itself as a leading industrial and commercial player helping brands and plastics producers to switch from management problematic of plastic waste to a solution to reduce their carbon footprint ”.
