Five German boys are the new superstars on the Internet: The Elevator Boys and their elevator videos even inspire Heidi Klum.

Imagine you press the button next to the elevator, wait for it to come, the door opens – and there are five attractive young men in the cabin who look at you seductively as if they had just been waiting for you…

Your success story began in the parking garage

Jacob, Tim, Luis, Bene and Julien play with exactly this fantasy. Their videos, in which they casually pose or dance in elevators, are popular on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. In the meantime, the five guys – four are from Frankfurt, one from Nuremberg – are also known beyond Germany as the Elevator Boys.

It all started in a parking garage where the gang accidentally discovered that the light in the elevator was perfect for shooting a short video. As soon as it was published, it became a hit on the internet. The guys, who were previously active individually on TikTok, met and became friends through it, became famous.

The concept is as simple as it is ingenious: Five good-looking guys (two of them also work as models) in hip clothes and with cool hairstyles, some music, a casual choreography, done. No wonder the Elevator Boys are already being compared to the Backstreet Boys. Small difference: they don’t sing.

Elevator Boys: Arrived at the top

Things are now going so well for them that companies book them for advertising. Recently, a campaign with a discounter caused a stir.

Fans all over the world accompany the friends in everyday life. They have over two million followers on Instagram alone. Since their breakthrough, the boys have been living in a flat share, the “Elevator Mansion”. First on 180 square meters in Berlin, currently in a house in Los Angeles. There, the troupe recently met Heidi Klum – as a teenage mother who is well informed about the successful boys – to dance and of course to take a ride in the elevator.

Of course the fans want to know everything about her. For example: Are the five still available? Yes, except for Julien, everyone is single. If you meet her on a date, thanks to TikTok, you know that you can delight her with Thai curry or pasta – the boys’ favorite foods. And also that Bene could come too late, because the youngest of the five takes the longest in the bathroom. Tim’s “secret” is also interesting: As a child, he was always afraid of getting stuck in the elevator.
