A vigil was held Wednesday in honor of little Mason, 4, whose body was discovered in a freezer in a Las Vegas home.
The emotion is great in Las Vegas after the discovery of the body of a little boy in a freezer. The 4-year-old was identified as Mason Dominguez and was allegedly killed by her mother’s boyfriend. A vigil was held in his honor on Wednesday, reports the website of the magazine “People”.
The corpse had been discovered the day before by the police, after the mother managed to pass a secret note, through her daughter, to her teacher. The latter gave the alert and the agents went to the family home. Mason’s mother explained that she was held captive by her companion and had not seen her son since December 11. She said she was abused and assaulted herself. The suspect has been charged with two counts of first degree kidnapping and murder. He was jailed without the possibility of bail.
The mother’s attorney, Stephen Stubbs, told The Associated Press that she endured months of physical, sexual and emotional abuse and that 35-year-old Brandon Toseland threatened to kill her children if she left him. He allegedly began to be violent after the woman and her two children moved into his home in March 2021. In particular, he began to want to control everything, covering the windows and installing CCTV cameras. He would also have taken his partner away from her family by taking her cell phone. The autopsy of the child will now have to determine the causes of his death.
