The employment climate index in France stands at 101.9 points in March 2024, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee) published at 8:45 a.m. Thus, this indicator from business surveys carried out among business leaders decreased by 0.3 points over one month. The index being slightly above its long-term average (100), the opinion of business leaders on salaried employment is somewhat favorable.
In February, the index was 102.2 points (a figure which has just been revised by INSEE), up 3.5 points over one month.
