The Enfoirés: Kendji Girac back? The singer sets things straight

Recruited by Les Restos du Coeur to join the Enfoirés troupe in 2017, Kendji Girac was absent during the last edition. Will he be back? The star says it all.

The Voice Kids, Champion on TF1: everything smiles on Kendji Girac. Revealed through The Voice in 2014, the star enjoyed on-air success. In 2017, he was one of the new recruits of the troop of Motherfuckers. The singer goes on stage for a series of charity concerts in favor of Restos du Coeur. But last year, Kendji Girac was one of the great absentees. Will he be back next year? The star takes stock in an interview with Télépro this Wednesday.

Kendji Girac said : “Yes, this year. I missed the year before for personal reasons, so this year I should be there”, he confided. Good news for fans, who should therefore find the star on stage from January 12 to 16, 2023 at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon for the 2023 edition.

Kendi Girac portrays an illiterate boxer

On the TV side, Kendji Girac will soon be on the small screen with the TV movie Champion. He embodies the character of Zack, a carpenter passionate about boxing who hides a real difficulty: illiteracy. And for this great first in a fiction, the singer had to agree to make some physical concessions, as he explained to our colleagues from Télé Loisirs. “Don’t talk to me about it! That’s what was the most complicated for this shoot: agreeing to let me grow my beard and hair!”did he declare.

Fiction, which will be broadcast at the start of the school year on the first channel, is a real challenge for Kendji Giracfor whom the subject discussed is extremely important. “I went to school, but with my gypsy family, we were going on a trip from April, he confided to Télé-Loisirs, We crossed all of France to go see the cousins. It was our priority. I did this all my schooling. We also started back to school later. So I was quite behind the other students. Then I stopped studying at 14 to work with my father.”
