One Piece is back. As usual, chapter 1102 has been revealed in advance and it will be really emotional. It will sign our last moments with Kuma.
One Piece news will not have been as rich as in 2023. Release of the live-action series from Netflix, which was able to create a surprise, broadcast of the Gear 5 episode and now a remake of the The streaming giant still doesn’t liven up, fans of the license have and will have plenty to do. After a short break, the manga resumes its publication with chapter 1102, the one that we were promised would be quite epic. What is it really? As usual, the next pages of One Piece have leaked. Kuma’s Last Memories in One Piece Chapter 1102
Kuma’s story continues. Unsurprisingly, the chapter continues where the previous one left off. Bonney is finally free to sail the seas with her crew made up of former allies of her father and inhabitants of the village in search of her. She almost managed to find him since chapter 1102 of One Piece begins with this small troop going to a village where Kuma is. However, the agreement he made with the World Government prevents him from seeing her even one last time or making contact with her. He regrets that she became a pirate, especially to look for him, knowing the fate that awaits her. Failing to find her father, Bonney embarks on another quest: finding Nika. Meanwhile in East Blue, Luffy’s exploits begin to make headlines.
After beating Arlong, the Straw Hat’s wanted notice begins to be spread everywhere and we see several characters react. Dragon goes to Loguetown, Smoker looks pissed as hell, while Ace is simply proud of his little brother. “What a curious twist of fate, your son became a pirate…” comments Kuma. We also learn why Bonney has a mark under her right eye: with it, she hopes to attract her father’s attention. Meanwhile, Kuma discovers his clones, while Luffy has declared war on the World Government. He reveals to Vegapunk that Dragon has a son and admits to finding similarities in him with his idol, Nika. Chapter 1102 of One Piece advances to his meeting with the Straw Hat crew at Thriller Bark and the epic passage with Zoro. “His friends are great,” he thinks out loud.
The meeting with Luffy
We are now at the Sabaody Archipelago episode. The Seven Great Corsairs are called to Marineford: the date for the execution of Portgas D Ace has been set. Kuma allows himself a small deviation before leaving. Discreetly from a window, he watches Bonney stuff herself with pizzas. “This is the last time I see your face, become an indomitable pirate”, he begins to think, a smile on his face. However, another event attracts his attention. Someone just hit a Celestial Dragon and a Marine HQ ship is about to be dispatched.
“It’s suicide,” Kuma then begins to think, discovering to his surprise that it’s still the Straw Hat crew. He then realizes that no one has done such a daring act in hundreds of years and he decides to help them in his own way. “Through Bonney and this young boy, their future will be the only legacy I leave behind,” he thinks again, regretting not having been able to say goodbye to his friends, Dragon and Ivankov. One Piece Chapter 1102 then comes to the scene where Kuma sends Luffy elsewhere, while he languishes thinking he was unable to save his crew. Inwardly, the Grand Corsair answers him: he is not ready for the New World and must show him the level he must reach. “One day you will save the world,” he concludes.
Kuma’s last words
Change of point of view. Dean Saturn asks Vegapunk to install a self-destruct system in Kuma, which he is far from happy with. The scientist tries to negotiate, in vain, by explaining that if they remove all traces of his individuality, he will never be able to find Bonney. It’s the big day for the Grand Corsair, but he asks his friend for a favor before his mind is completely erased, implanting one last command: protect the Straw Hat’s ship until one of them They come back. “I would like to be the guardian of their house since I would not be able to witness their development.” Before the operation, Kuma gathers all his memories in a huge bubble, a bubble which will disappear permanently if someone touches it. Something Bonney did a few chapters ago.
One Piece Chapter 1102 concludes with a whole bunch of Kuma’s memories. His meeting with Ivankov, Genny, Dragon and Bonney. “Your life did no harm to anyone, but your death will hurt everyone who loves you,” Vegapunk says in tears as he prepares to pull the lever that will make his friend disappear forever. Kuma had asked him for one last favor, his final words to say to Bonney if he ever saw her again: to wish her a happy tenth birthday. The chapter ends in the present with his daughter in tears. The flashbacks are therefore over, but we will have to wait before discovering the rest: there will be no chapter next week.
