For the Épide centers (establishments for integration into employment), the crisis will have been a revelation. Faced with a downward trend in their activity since 2017, these structures which aim at the social and professional integration of young people have begun a real transformation during these two years of the pandemic. “We entered the crisis in difficulty with a drop in the number of admissions and the number of young people inserted. This period was an opportunity to reinvest our values and reinvent our working methods. Today, we come out of it stronger and more agile,” explains Florence Gérard-Chalet, general manager of Épide.
